PGS street

last last last dayz.. (i think on 17 april, coz that time "The Forbidden Kingdom" play for premiere).. i went to PGS street, theres a new food yard street.. huhuhuhuhu.. the envi like on msia/sg.. but its more cleaner and much trouble, because this area/street is not closed for them every hour.. this is a sreet in gladag, solo. which is on noon, they will open the street like usual.. and on 5pm, the management will close the street, and all the hoppers will put in order for them.. the foods here is collected by Solo Mayor, and he choose to put all the famous, traditional foods from Solo.. so, this place quite nice and unique.. you no need to walking/driving ALL solo foods.. be here, and enjoy ;)

and, the other thing about this place is.. you see the train track there? hehehehe, thats THE ONLY ONE train track who cross the CITY in Indonesia.. this track is crossing the main road of Solo (Slamet Riyadi Street) and also the downtown of Solo.. hahahaha.. quite prude of it ^^

Do & Don’t when be traveler

DO
Bring a small bottle of water, some light medicine, tissue (wet/dry), sun lotion (if you walkers), maps/compass (if you go to woods), dry clothe (depend on your destination) on your bag pack.

You may buy a small bag for bathing items; soap, shampoo, facial soap/cleaner, tooth paste, brush teeth, brush hair, etc (other ‘must’ items you need).

If you using prepaid, make sure you reload to full, or if you using postpaid, better check your provider, are they have an international roaming for you.

Bring all your small change/coins for your country destination and bring some money for every country nearby your destination.

Bring a note & pen for you write down local police centre, or maybe local cuisine addresses, phone number & maps.

Prepare your camera/handy cam on full bat, and left lots of memory. Or maybe you can have extra memory card or battery. And MUST bring the charger for electronic thingy. and prepared anything needed from the weathers (cold, snow, deep sea, etc) for your electronics..

Snap photos as much as you can, don’t forget to snap you with some cool background; local famous building, peoples, people who wear traditional clothes, etc.

Be extreme while you can, things that can make you embarrass, cause you are not staying there forever. Be brave and strong. If there’s bungee jump, then JUMP!! If there’s a track racing, ask people around rather you can go inside and make a lap.

Buy enough local trade mark for your friends & family at home. Can be homemade/traditional foods or snacks.

DON’T
Please don’t leave the house without telling your family or people at home. And always get in touch with them while you traveled (especially when you traveled alone).

Don’t leave your hotel room without keys, or maybe you can put “do not disturb” sign. Or if you stay at motel/cheaper hotel (like i do ;p), you can put a secret sign, a paper or other small things and put in between on door below, the effect, when someone enter your room, the paper will not stick on the door anymore. (too much detective comic book, but hey that’s works!).

If not really in urgent, don’t bring umbrella on your luggage. If you really cant help with sun and rain, you can bring a hat. But if you really need umbrella, you can buy at your visiting town.

For shoppaholics, please DO NOT buy TOO MUCH clothes, shoes, bags, books (books is very heavy). Those will effect your luggage weight on plane. And please~ don’t be stupid to wear some clothes at once when you aboard (yea, that’s happened, not just on film).
